About The Power That Corrupts.

In addition to communicating with the local Air Traffic Control facility, all Aircraft in the Persian Gulf AOR are required to give the Iranian Air Defense Radar (military) a ten minute ‘heads up’ if they will be transiting Iranian Airspace.

The following conversation was heard on the VHF Guard (emergency) frequency 121.5 MHz.
Iranian Air Defence Radar: ‘Unknown aircraft you are in Iranian airspace. Identify yourself.’
Aircraft: ‘This is a United States aircraft. I am in Iraqi airspace.’
Air Defense Radar: ‘You are in Iranian airspace. If you do not depart our airspace
We will launch interceptor aircraft!’
Aircraft: ‘This is a United States Marine Corps FA-18 fighter. Send ’em up, I’ll wait.’
Air Defence Radar: (total silence)

My friend Richard sent me this. Impressive. Such a plane must be able to cause an awful amount of damage. I count at least 12 missiles under its belly and it must have more death-spewing capacities onboard. The bloke (or girl?) inside such a machine must have the greatest amount of death sowing capacity any soldier ever had on our war-riddled planet. A mere look through his visor at a target, a few grams of pressure from one of his fingers and uncounted lives and vast amounts of human industry are destroyed in a flash of light. If that isn’t power, what is? Of course it’s power of destruction, I don’t think that humans have invented such immediate power of CONstruction.

By this time we all know what influence power has over the human mind….it corrupts! Politicians have proved the veracity of this dictum over many centuries, would the actions of supreme-power invested soldiers be different?

Politicians and military people share the fact that they are rarely intelligent and inventive people. In politics, a kind of sly cunning and low craftiness seems to be the recipe that people vote for but I do not know the real ingredient that is the politician’s stone as the alchemists had their philosophical stone to produce gold.

Soldiers are to be found in a different kettle of fish but, in general, they’re dependent of politicians, except in the USA where they are slowly replacing the government. Komrade Obama can now throw any American in jail without a court and declare war willie-nillie on any country. No more Senate and all that BS, the Pentagon is supreme!

To come back to that fellow in the fighter plane. There he flies, wherever he wants to, high and mighty and when a lowly Iranian tells him to get the hell out of Iranian airspace, he laughs and invites Iran to kick him out. You can be sure that this audacious pilot knows that Iran does not have one bloody plane to withstand his killing power but just imagine a few Iranian hot-headed pilots that decide to give that yankee bastard a run for his money. Of course they’ll be shot down and some of their molecules might float down into Persia.

A gloating, super-powered pilot returns to base, not even knowing that his corrupt actions have engendered another war.

I commented yesterday Nick, but I think it didn’t come through. For once I agree fully with you, the best thing they can do is, use this plane upon the Pentagon. That would stop a lot of trouble in the world.

Ehrm, they did, 9/11, heard of it?

They bombed the pentagon (and more) and we all know what came from that. So bombing the pentagon might not be such a good idea (i feel like talking to a kid). Actually the guy is 87 years old, or something,….makes you wonder

Daily, still a hundred, or so, innocent, people die as a, indirect, result of those attacks (9/11).

So bombing the Pentagon to ‘stop the trouble in the world”, Ahaha, don’t make me laugh. Where are you from? Oh sadly enough I know where you’re from, and what you’re about and what you’ve done…

The philosophers stone should not be seen as a as a literally object, but as, as I know you do, a piece of information, that, might turn the ordinary (lead) into the extraordinary (gold)
Even though you use it in a different contexts here, like; what is or makes a successful politician. What is the secret to become a successful politician?
Well the answer here is very straight forward, for if we’re talking about democratically elected politicians, the measure of their success, is, if they are being elected in the first place, and then if they are being reelected.
So how do you get elected by the people?
If they will vote for you.
When will people vote for you? If people believe in your ideals and that what you stand for.
People will vote for those who protect their own interests; those who will secure their jobs, their own future, and the future of those who they love.
So as a politician, you must give them that, you must give them what they need, that what they desire!!
In short: the philosopher’s stone= give them what they need/want.
To convince the masses, that you are that guy, you will need the media , to bring your message across, or stronger, to convince the masses, that you are the guy, “who can make their dreams come true”.

But that brings us to the next subject; the interaction between the politicians and the media; how they each need each other, and how they both must feed upon each other, to keep each of them alive…..

No politician will be elected without the “help” of the media; for it’s the media that brings the politicians point of views across to the public (the electorate).
